Hi! I’m Josef. I recently wrote Marriage Is Worth the Fight, a book focused on encouraging men as they walk through marriage. My passion is to see men realize their identity in God, their value as persons made in His image, and their role in God’s created order. I want to see us rise up to grasp the expansive breadth of fulfillment and meaning available to us in Christ Jesus—that we might lead our wives and families closer to God.

For the past 18 years, marriage to my wife, Nikki, has shaped much of what I’ve learned about God’s design for marriage. Together, we’re raising three daughters, and the daily rhythms of family life continue to prove a fertile ground for helping us grow together.

A love for theology, philosophy, and culture fuels much of my thinking and writing. Beyond that, you’ll likely find me enjoying music, playing chess, grilling, or savoring a strong cup of coffee.

At the end of the day, my desire is simple: to help others live in such a way that when we stand before God, we’ll hear, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
